マスカットのような甘い香りは心身の緊張を緩めて、ブルーな気分を解消するとともに不安定な感情を調整します。

また、女性ホルモン分泌の調整をする働きがあるため、生理痛や生理前症候群によく用いられます。

＜精油主成分内容＞
酢酸リナレル、リナロール、ゲルマクレンD

※5mLのエッセンシャルオイルも10mL用の容器を使用しております。
※手作業による充填のため内容量に多少の差が生じる場合がありますが、規定量は満たしております。

クラリセージはその語源の「クラルス」がラテン語の「明るい」や「澄んだ」を意味するように見通しが立たない状態に陥った人々を助けるハーブとして古くからヨーロッパで用いられてきました。マスカットのような甘い香りを放つクラリセージの精油にはジテルペンアルコールのスクラレオールが含まれ、この成分が女性ホルモンの分泌を調整すると考えられています。また、鎮静・鎮痙作用をもたらす酢酸リナリルが精油全体の60～80％（ちなみにラベンダーは30～55％程度）を占めることから心身の緊張を緩めるのに大変効果的です。したがって現在ではこのふたつの作用からもっぱら生理痛や生理前症候群などにオイルマッサージや温湿布、それに入浴などで用いる精油として知られています。一方、使用上の注意として、使用後に集中力を失ったり眠気を催すことがあるため、運転前の使用や飲酒時の使用は控えることが賢明です。
